and... Exhale

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the number of moments that take our breath away...

What are you capable of?

What are you capable of doing when you lose control?  What does that look like?  Feel like?  Sound like?  What are you capable of when you are hurt?  Defensive?  Angry?  What are you capable of when you are insecure?  Protective?  Spiteful?  Or jealous?  How do you behave?  What do you act like?  How do you cope or temper those temperaments?

Do you truly allow yourself to feel those feelings?  Have you ever fallen apart and lost control?  Or do you bottle it up... justify... deny... and ignore?

"One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people.  He said, "my son the battle is between two wolves inside all of us. One is evil.  It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.  The other is good.  It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith.  The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather... which wolf wins?"

The old Cherokee simply replied... "The one you feed."
